Job Overview:

The role of the Infrastructure Project Manager at Qatar Project Management (QPM) is to oversee high-quality planning, designing, and execution of infrastructure projects across multiple locations. This includes ensuring effective estimation and management of project costs, as well as establishing guidelines for value engineering and risk management.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with design managers to develop detailed procedures for infrastructure engineering systems, including methodologies and guidelines for cost estimation and management.
  2. Develop templates for client needs assessments, site surveys, cost estimation, tendering, and work allocation to sub-contractors and contractors.
  3. Create guidelines for value engineering and perform risk management for sites and structures to ensure high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet regulatory and HSE requirements.

Languages and Skills:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Fluent English language skills (Arabic is an advantage).
  • 15+ years' experience in the construction industry, with 2-3 years in a managerial role within a medium to large Project Management Company.
  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven people management skills and cost management & control techniques.
