Welfare Coordinator

About the Role: As a Welfare Coordinator at Qatar Airways, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being and support of our special needs individuals. Reporting directly to the Manager QR Shafallah, you will be responsible for coordinating all matters related to the handling of these individuals, ensuring that all queries and concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update staff records of special needs individuals in various systems, including GEMS, Staff Travel, and HRES, as required.
- Handle all work-related materials and documents for special needs individuals, ensuring their needs are met.
- Responsible for the handover of special needs individuals to their parents/guardians after duty hours, maintaining a log for the same.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the work environment for special needs individuals.
- Assist the Manager QR Shafallah in handling day-to-day tasks related to special needs individuals, including improving working conditions and helping them adapt to the work environment.
- Translate official documents from English to Arabic and vice-versa, as required.
- Liaise with parents of special needs individuals as needed, maintaining open communication.
- Prepare and maintain reports of daily tasks accomplished by the team, handing over to the Manager QR Shafallah.
- Elevate matters to the Manager QR Shafallah as necessary.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
