Assembly Superintendent

About the Role:

The Assembly Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the assembly and erection of piping systems for our projects. This includes managing interfaces with production superintendents, engineering, methods disciplines, and quality control. The successful candidate will have significant experience in coordination and control of erection works, as well as a strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental protection principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Promote and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental protection.
2. Manage and coordinate assembly and erection works, ensuring compliance with established operating programs.
3. Ensure that welding activities and non-destructive controls are carried out and released before painting, optimizing costs.
4. Coordinate and organize support activities, such as scaffolding, lifting, and handling.
5. Release mechanically completed systems to commissioning units in the scheduled sequence.
6. Ensure that load out operations are carried out efficiently.
7. Monitor progress, identifying causes of deviations between the program and actual work, proposing solutions, and requesting instructions when necessary.
8. Control production parameters in terms of efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in coordinating and controlling erection works.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental protection principles.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
