We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety Specialist to join our team at Radisson Blu Hotel - Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food safety procedures are followed and maintained at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Hygiene and Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the highest level of food safety and hygiene standards in the hotel.
- Monitor and enforce food safety procedures in all production areas, including the Central Production Kitchen and all other outlets.
- Conduct regular food safety inspections and report any irregularities to the relevant departments.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of food safety procedures and inspections.
- Collaborate with the Hygiene and Quality Assurance Manager to develop and implement food safety policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety procedures and best practices.
- Ensure that all food safety equipment and facilities are properly maintained and cleaned.
- Develop and implement a quality control program to ensure that all food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that all food suppliers meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.
- Conduct regular audits of food suppliers to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop and implement a food safety training program for all staff members.
- Collaborate with the health and safety team to ensure that all food safety procedures are aligned with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement a system for tracking and reporting food safety incidents and near misses.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Should be HACCP/Food Safety Level 3 trained.
- Applicants should possess relevant educational qualifications.
- Work experience of at least 3 years in a similar field is required.
- Experience in inspecting food premises, writing reports, and filling checklists.
- Specialized qualification in food safety and hygiene will be an advantage.
- Should possess a track record of food safety and hygiene within the food industry.
- Ability to liaise with all departments.
- Should possess excellent communication skills.
- Very good computer skills.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of QR.3500/-, free shared accommodation, meals, and transportation.
