Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned cost control professional to oversee project costs, ensure accuracy and integrity of data, and provide financial input into funding packages. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of project controls principles, theories, and concepts, as well as experience working on major projects from an owner's perspective.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a set of project cost control procedures, guidelines, and flowcharts to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure cost data integrity across all EPC contracts and compile accurate cost information for project management.
  • Direct project teams and provide guidance and expertise to project cost engineers assigned to each EPC contract.
  • Provide financial input into funding packages, including Advance Commitments (ACs), Full Funding (FF), and Supplementary Funding.
  • Forecast cost estimates and prepare annual Work Program and Budget (WP&B) considering project scope, progress achieved, and pending scope.
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for the overall project.
  • Facilitate monitoring of contractors' and project cost performance compared to agreed control plans and recommend corrective actions.
  • Advise project leadership teams of potential cost issues and provide guidance on corrective actions and measures to mitigate adverse trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Management discipline.
  • 10 years' experience in project cost control with extensive knowledge of project controls principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Experience working on major projects from an owner's perspective, managing EPC lump sum contracts, and working with multi-lingual contract teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and some technical packages.
