Airline Management Opportunity

The Client of Aurawoo International Sharjah is seeking an experienced Airlines Manager to oversee the operations of our airline in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our aviation and airport management team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and business objectives to maximize airline profitability and growth.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day airline operations, including flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, crew management, and ground operations.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Manage the airline's budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Customer Service: Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction levels by maintaining high service standards and addressing customer feedback.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of airline staff, including pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, and administrative personnel.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage service agreements, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement contingency plans to handle emergencies, flight disruptions, and other operational challenges.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as airport authorities, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators and operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field is typically required. Previous experience in airline management or a related role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Aviation Regulations: Familiarity with local and international aviation regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost control principles to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
