Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain electrical systems, including low-voltage and high-voltage systems, to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with facilities management teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated with other building systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to facilities staff on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of electrical systems, including diagrams, schematics, and maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure electrical work is completed to specifications and on time.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for electrical system failures.
  • Conduct training and education programs for facilities staff on electrical systems and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) software.
