About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Systems Designer to join our team. As an Irrigation Systems Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative irrigation systems that enhance landscape sustainability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop irrigation systems for landscape projects, ensuring they are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and code compliant.
  • Work closely with design groups and external landscape consultants to support project teams in creating sustainable landscape designs.
  • Research and advise on methods of irrigation on projects, and contribute to the development of irrigation design standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare technical packages from concept design to tender and contract documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance to CADD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Irrigation Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in landscape irrigation for public realm, roadways, public parks, planning, and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in utilizing AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of irrigation design principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with design work in Qatar, UAE, KSA, or the Middle East.
  • Knowledge of local irrigation standards and regulations.
  • Ability to write technical documents and correspondence.
