Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Program Manager to join our team at Ministry of Public Health - Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting initiatives to improve various health portfolios/programs and spread awareness through conducting campaigns for the well-being of the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Health Programs: Design, develop, and implement health programs that align with the ministry's strategic plans and goals.
  • Build and Manage Partnerships: Build and manage partnerships with national health organizations, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to support health programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct Campaigns and Awareness Activities: Conduct campaigns and awareness activities to promote health programs and initiatives, and to educate the community on health-related issues.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Programs: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and Manage Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for health programs and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders, including health sector leaders, to develop and implement health programs and initiatives.
  • Provide Education and Training: Provide education and training to health sector leaders and other stakeholders on health-related issues and best practices.
  • Perform Other Related Duties: Perform other related duties as required to support the ministry's health programs and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or other health-related field and Project Management certificate or related years of experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in managing health-related portfolios/programs.
