We are seeking a highly skilled Phantom Works Open Systems Software Lead to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our Mission Systems software team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of containerized software architecture across multiple types of hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Architecture Lead: Develop and lead the implementation of containerized software architecture for Mission Systems software, ensuring seamless integration with various hardware types.
  • Containerized Software Development: Design and implement containerized software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Open Architecture Constructs: Lead the implementation of open architecture constructs such as Open Mission Systems (OMS) and Open Communication Standard (OCS), utilizing the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI).
  • Subsystem Definition: Define boundaries for OMS Subsystems, requirements, and service contracts for OMS services, and OMS isolators.
  • Compliance Standards: Define compliance standards and flows requirements for open systems to Mission Systems teams.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and technical skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with containerized software development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of open architecture constructs and standards.
  • Ability to define and implement compliance standards and flows requirements.
