About the Role

  • This position is responsible for overseeing the Topsides & STP contractor team field planning, coordination, and execution activities within designated area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

">
  1. Lead monitoring and oversight of contractor team activities to ensure adherence to project requirements.
  2. Appraise contractor performance in safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
  3. Prepare and provide routine progress reports to management and update S-curve performance with analysis.
  4. Ensure contractor's Safety and Quality program is developed, implemented, and sustained at site.
  5. Review construction deliverables such as Method statements, construction procedures, Lifting schemes, etc. as per company specifications.
  6. Provide safety leadership by example to the Offshore Project Team and the Offshore contractor and its sub-contractors and site vendors.
  7. Responsible for ensuring contractor implements and sustains HSES project deliverables.
  8. Act as Offshore Project team construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of contractor team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
  9. Report on construction activities, progress, areas of concern, and mitigating actions to management and participate in weekly construction discipline review meetings.
  10. Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review, and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution.
  11. Reviews and approves contractor's construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning, and method statements and participates in constructability reviews, HAZID workshops during construction.
  12. Helps in identifying and organizing all required construction support in liaison with the Offshore Topsides & STP.
  13. Reviews construction risks and assists in providing mitigation measures. Reports Risks to management and reviews the EPCI level 3 schedule prepared by the Contractor.
  14. Monitors site material handling, preservation, and warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.

About You

">
  • Engineering/Construction degree with relevant experience or Recognized Diploma in Engineering/Construction management with prior work experience.
  • Hold a valid NACE or Equivalent level III Coating certificate.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in coating, insulation, and architectural works of offshore Jackets, Topsides, Pipelines, and Sub-Sea structures.
  • Exhaustive experience in the preparation, fabrication, and construction of Architectural works of offshore buildings and coating and insulation of offshore structures including piping and Equipment with EPCI contractors.
  • Experience of supervision of TSA coating works.
  • Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
