Instrument Technician Job Description

Madre Integrated Engineering Doha is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wellhead Maintenance (WHM):
    • Troubleshoot and ensure constant communication in the control system.
    • Overhaul, calibrate, and troubleshoot control valves, including globe, throttling, and self-regulating valves.
    • Field service and calibrate pneumatic devices.
    • Utilize calibration tools such as Hart communicator, Fluke loop, Temperature Calibrator, and Dead weight tester.
  • Instrument Maintenance Support:
    • Dismantle, repair, overhaul, and test pneumatic, electronic, and smart instrumentation for various parameters.
    • Replace and maintain instrumentation and auxiliary equipment, including cabling.
    • Maintain and repair detection and protection systems, including calibration.
    • Troubleshoot electronic instrumentation, PLC, and field bus systems.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in instrumentation and process control, with a strong understanding of wellhead maintenance and instrument maintenance support.
