Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Control Specialist to join our team at Qatar Project Management (QPM). As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for controlling and managing project costs, as well as supporting the team in all commercial matters of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control and manage project costs to ensure compliance with the project budget and scope.
  • Support the project team in all commercial matters, including contract administration and dispute resolution.
  • Manage and review Quantity Surveys (QS) to ensure that all work carried out meets the Statement of Work to the expected degree.
  • Prepare management reports to highlight the progress of work and identify commercially acceptable solutions to claims or mitigation of potential claims.
  • Ensure compliance throughout the project for your workload and the consultants you work alongside.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying/Construction Management.
  • Minimum 12 years of related work experience in all post-contract quantity surveying functions.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with consultants/clients.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the GCC region.
  • Experience in mixed-use projects, including major infrastructure and high-rise buildings.
