Job Description

The successful candidate will lead our MEP team, managing coordination and delivery of large-scale multidisciplinary sustainable building designs. They will possess extensive experience in mechanical services, including HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and firefighting investigations and designs, fee proposals, winning jobs, and negotiating contracts with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and develop MEP team capabilities and skills.
  2. Manage coordination and delivery of MEP projects.
  3. A proven track record of delivering large-scale multidisciplinary sustainable building designs, on time and within budget in a commercial environment.
  4. Ability to successfully manage clients and other significant internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in mechanical services, including HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and firefighting investigations and designs.
  • Familiarity with British, NFPA, and CIBSE standards and requirements.
  • Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
  • Extensive experience in using current technology analysis software for heat load calculations and energy modeling.
  • Dealing with local relevant authorities and obtaining building permits.
  • Middle East experience and a working knowledge of design and construction practices specific to this region will be considered favorably.
  • In possession of or progressing towards MMUP (Grade A) registration.
