Internal Audit Specialist Job Description

PS Tech is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our internal audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual and long-term audit plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of organizational and functional activities.
  • Conduct audits of financial policies, processes, and procedures, and prepare reports highlighting recommendations and improvement opportunities.
  • Assess the efficiency of operating processes and controls to identify profit and cost-effective improvements.
  • Support the development of policies, processes, and procedures, and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to identify and mitigate IT-related risks.
  • Communicate audit results to management and the President through written reports and oral presentations.
  • Develop audit programs aligned with engagement scope and requirements.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
  • At least 15 years of post-graduate experience, with 12 years of relevant experience in the construction or related industries.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Arabic language skills are a plus.
