About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  8. Develop charts and data documentation, explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships.
  9. Apply SQL queries to extract valuable insights from data.
  10. Enhance existing BI systems, improving performance and scalability.
  11. Employ filters and visualizations to gain deeper understanding of data.
  12. Analyze current ETL procedures, defining and implementing new systems for improved data management.
  13. Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate with business stakeholders.
  14. Liaise with the Security team to ensure adherence to Ooredoo security governance.
  15. Act as a technical trouble-shooter, resolving issues and collaborating with relevant teams.
  16. Ensure a smooth handover of the PBI platform from vendors to internal resources, securing business continuity.
  17. Coordinate vendor-provided training and document processes related to PBI for knowledge management.
  18. Continuously improve current practices and align with the Performance Management team on KPI definitions.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience with Power Platform development.
  2. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or information systems technology.
  3. Experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI.
  5. Familiarity with scripting and programming languages.
  6. Knowledge of SQL server and relevant software skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Wave).
  7. Mandatory previous experience in the telecommunications industry to understand business KPIs.
