Application Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of critical software applications.
• Ensure applications are
running efficiently and meet business requirements.
• Plan and execute software updates, patches, and upgrades.
Team Leadership:
• Manage a team of application support specialists and developers.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance on technical issues.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
• Liaise with software vendors and service providers to ensure proper support.
• Negotiate contracts and manage service level agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize application enhancements.
• Monitor and Budget preparation for Operational and new Initiatives in coordination with Finance.
• Compliance to the KPI's for yearly initiatives
• Research and proposition to enhance the Application Landscape for Qatar Rail.
Project Management:
• Lead application-related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Develop project plans, set timelines, and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
