**About the role**
We are currently recruiting for Manager Systems for Ground Services in Doha.
The role is responsible for overseeing Qatar Airways Ground Services (QR GS) Automation systems in QR HUB and Network Stations. Design, manage, monitor and recommend innovations and implement state of the art self-service and mobility solutions.
Specific responsibilities for the role include:
- Responsible for the introduction, development, implementation of Automated tools, systems and initiatives to suit QR Ground Services (GS) requirements ensuring maximum benefits and, in a cost-effective manner.
- Responsible to manage budgets for GS Automated System.
- Responsible to ensuring that automation related agreements are the invoice verification process for approvals is as per QR policies and standards.
- Responsible for resilient infrastructure business contingency plans for seamless airport operations.
- Explore and select best IT devices/ hardware for GS airports in order to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and provide feedback to continuously improve services via process improvement.
- Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
- Train and develop other employees to ensure succession planning is in place.
- Manages Ground Services operational systems ensuring that they support the organization and business growth.
- Other duties and responsibilities as requested by the management.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Must have a minimum of 8 years job-related experience is required.
- Preferred to have an ITIL, PMP or any equivalent IT qualifications.
- Good Analytic and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Managerial skills such as, ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, Strong mentoring and Coaching skills., Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills, ability to foster teamwork among theme members.
- Challenge the status quo and strive for continuous improvement.
- High degree of self-motivation and personal enthusiasm.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to operational queries from all QR networks.
