We are looking for an experienced regulatory compliance officer that is seeking the opportunity to join an international energy trading business based in Qatar. The primary purpose of the job is to report and review the laws, regulations, and exchange rules in connection with the products traded by the firm, both on a physical and derivative bases. The role requires a strong understanding of the global energy trading markets, including exposure to products such as LNG, Crude Oil, Natural Gas and OTC Products.

You will be responsible for identifying applicable trading regulations in the relevant jurisdictions, recommending actions to always ensure compliance, and assisting the business by taking a leading role in the preparation of internal policies & procedures, and the implementation of internal processes (Including internal and external reporting measures) to ensure compliance with all relevant trading regulations.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Monitoring the regulatory landscape in all relevant jurisdictions, reacting to any new trade regulations and making recommendations on changes required to policies, procedures, and processes applicable to the business.
- Advising management on the compliance framework put in place by the company with respect to all relevant trading regulations and on the ongoing compliance.
- Preparing reports to internal stakeholders, including management trading groups and risk control.
- Handling external counsels and consultants in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
