The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing food preparation activities in the bakery, pastry, and kitchen sections. This role ensures that production processes run smoothly, recipes are followed consistently, quality standards are maintained, and the overall production floor operates efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Oversight**:

- Supervise day-to-day operations on the production floor for bakery, pastry, and kitchen departments.
- Ensure food preparation staff follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
- Coordinate workflow to meet daily production targets and maintain efficiency.
- **Recipe and Quality Management**:

- Ensure recipes are prepared consistently and according to specifications.
- Monitor quality standards and enforce hygiene and safety protocols.
- Implement corrective measures for deviations in quality and production output.
- **Team Management**:

- Assign tasks and supervise food preparation staff.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and productivity.
- Monitor staff performance and report any issues to the Operations Manager.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain production records, including quantities, quality checks, and downtime.
- Generate daily production reports for review by the Operations Manager.
- Identify issues affecting production efficiency and suggest improvements.
- **Floor Control and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure the production floor is organized, clean, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to them.
- Address operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in **Food Production, Culinary Arts, or related field**.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of **3-5 years** in food production supervision, preferably in **bakery, pastry, or central kitchen operations**.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and quality control standards.
- Familiarity with **recipe management systems** and production planning tools.
- Knowledge of **health and safety regulations** in food production environments.
- **Leadership Skills**:

- Effective team leadership, delegation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to train, motivate, and manage staff effectively.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.

**Preferred Certifications**:

- **HACCP Certification** or any relevant food safety qualification is a plus.
