As Stores Assistant I within Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC), you will be responsible to assist in goods receiving, arranging and thawing; as well as issuance of materials from Stores to ensure a smooth flow of the process. You will help in preparing for physical stock count and supports in daily checking of expiry dates of stored items in order to prevent wastage.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in receiving materials from suppliers and helps in unloading of goods from delivery vehicles.
- Put away materials and arranges as per FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principle in the pre-planned storage location(s).
- Attend training and refresher programs to operate relevant equipment and successfully passes assessment to acquire qualification.
- Help in moving items between areas using pallet jacks.
- Help in issuance of materials by picking items as per the approved requisition, de-boxing and charging onto the conveyor belt for distribution.
- Facilitate thawing of items by de-boxing and arranging inside the thawing chiller.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by he Head of the Department.

**Qualifications**:

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Spoken and written communication skills in English

**Preferred**:

- Operation of pallet jacks, weighing scales and other Stores & Warehousing equipment
