**Job Summary**:
The Instrumentation Engineer plays a key role in overseeing the design, review, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for engineering projects. Working within a consultancy environment, the role focuses on ensuring that instrumentation designs meet technical specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, provides expert input during project planning and execution, and supports the supervision of installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and design teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design Review & Development
- Review and validate instrumentation designs, P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and control philosophies.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, standards (ISA, IEC), and client requirements.
- Evaluate and approve technical submissions, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Project Coordination
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input during project planning.
- Interface with electrical and mechanical disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
- Site Supervision & Inspection _(if site-based)_
- Conduct site inspections for installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC protocols and health and safety standards.
- Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Documentation & Reports
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Support in the preparation of tender documents and bill of quantities (BOQ).
- Review and maintain records of instrument calibration, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with consultancy or EPC experience preferred.
- MMUP/MM Registration.
- Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, etc.).
