We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of our Technical GSE Team as GSE Assistant Mechanic in the head office in Doha.

About the Role

As a GSE Assistant Mechanic, you will be responsible to ensure that all scheduled and non-scheduled equipment maintenance tasks are carried out under the supervision of GSE Shift Leader or Aircraft Mechanic-GSE to the highest possible standard. All work should be performed as per manufacturer maintenance manuals and GSE workshop procedures, in the most productive and cost-effective manner using the available resources.

Key responsibilities are:

- Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.
- Able to continue with assigned tasks under supervision
- Operates equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives for tasks.
- Interprets information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation.
- General understanding of electrical, plumbing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and structural components and accessories.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and perform maintenance activities
- Meets set productivity standards.
- Accountable to comply with the company health and safety policy
- Task must comply with the technical instructions to carry out maintenance on ground equipment, and sign off that work completed is in accordance with the stated instructions
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

**Qualifications**:
About You
- Qualification of High School Qualification, Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent is essential.
- Minimum 2+ years of job-related experience
- General knowledge relative to skills required in the area of employment
- General understanding of work procedures to operate equipment to maintain satisfactory operation
