**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards.

Develop structural design concepts and solutions for various types of buildings and structures.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations using software tools to verify the integrity and stability of designs.

Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate design activities and ensure compatibility with architectural and MEP systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures, evaluate their condition, and recommend necessary repairs or modifications.
- Supervise and guide a team of structural engineers and drafters, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural designs within overall project requirements.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Perform constructability reviews and value engineering assessments to optimize design solutions.
- Provide technical support during construction phases, addressing any structural-related issues and ensuring compliance with design intent.
- Participate in design review meetings, client presentations, and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in structural engineering practices.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation, client meetings, and presentations.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the structural engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all project activities.

**Skills**:

- Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
- Experience in designing various types of structures, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding of construction materials and their behaviour.
- Knowledge of local regulations and building codes in Qatar
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Project management and organizational abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 10 year's experience in Qatar as a Senior Structural Engineer.

Experience in construction and Engineering companies.

Certified Structural Engineer

Chartered with the IStructE and have experience in software such as Tekla Structures, TEDDS, and Staad PRO.

Only applicants with Qatar experience will be considered.

**Salary**: QAR7,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
