Senior Technician

As a Senior Technician involved in the maintenance of air conditioning equipment, the role is to utilize learned skills to carry out the maintenance activity promptly with effective utilization of manpower. Should be able to exhibit empathy towards the customer, have the qualities to handle the situation, be given manpower, and be result-oriented. One should be able to maintain cordial relationships with both the user and colleagues at work.- PPM (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) scheduling for allotted sites and follow-up for timely completion.
- i.e., Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and/or replace HVAC equipment, including electrical & instrumentation/control, ensuring no major breakdowns & no cost overrun.- Complete the assigned T&M-related activities + Material follow-up until work is completed for the team.- DSM Scheduling for self. Complete work order upload service tickets. Ambiguity, if any, is to be reported to the service supervisor.- Share information in coordination with Team Leaders to clients/customers on shutdowns & statutory requirements for carrying out the work.- Maintain attendance sheet / OT Sheets / System work schedule for himself and team members.- Ensure proper storage and allocation of spare parts received on site for time & material jobs.- Proper feedback to the Team Leader / Supervisor.- Creating a productive work environment for the team, trust, and other appropriate strategies.- We are assisting with training employees. (Guide technicians & helpers for repairing / maintenance activity).- Compiles information in coordination with the service supervisor for internal record keeping & information sharing with clients/customers.- Act as a revenue generation stream. Getting involved at sites to understand any new opportunities for upgrade requirements / new businesses (T&M's) such as repair, replacement, etc- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment & make necessary repairs. Record & analyze the findings on all applied products.- Contribute to a safe working environment and be prepared to take action should a health or safety emergency occur, all in line with Daikin HR policy and coordination with the Service Supervisor.- Maintains confidentiality of information & material exposed in the course of business.- Provide support after work hours if required in emergencies, workshops, meetings, and other company functions.- Suggest process improvements + Suggest improvements in PPM task sheets.- Verify the MRF (Material Request Forms) filled out by the team members.**Follow-up** of DSM Scheduling for

**Education**:
- 3 Years ITI in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration or any equivalent training courses with certification

**Experience & Knowledge**:4- 6 Years of Experience in HVAC Service- Operation & Maintenance of Centrifugal & Air Cooled Chillers- Identifying & Troubleshooting - related to Mechanical & Electrical works.- Chilled Water System Knowledge - Primary & Secondary- Knowledge on carrying out maintenance / repair works - Chemical Descaling, Tube Brushing, Megger, Vibration, Refrigerant charging, Vacuum / Evacuation etc...- Guiding other fellow technicians, Asst. Technicians, Helpers.- Timely reporting to Team Leaders/Management.- Should be able to generate/prepare reports.- Qatar Driving license shall be an extra advantage
