world covering an area of 6,000 square kilometers. The utilization of this field’s massive reserves has become a primary

**Primary purpose of job**
Examine, analyse, and provide advice in handling litigation cases including representing QatarEnergy, its subsidiaries and

its affiliates before courts, public prosecution, judicial committees and disputes resolution tribunals, to protect QatarEnergy's

legal interests, as assigned by the Head Counsel or Associate General Counsel, in accordance with QatarEnergy's policies

and applicable laws and regulations to the best interest of QatarEnergy.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Eligible to practice law in Qatar or any similar jurisdiction;
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Strong legal drafting and writing skills;
- At least 7 years of legal experience including admittance to the bar in Qatar or experience with Qatari courts/court

submissions;
- Must have good knowledge of Qatar laws or any similar jurisdiction;
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry will be highly advantageous;
- Effective communication skills;
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word;
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player with members of the Legal Department, as well as other stakeholders;
- Highly motivated, proactive, organized, and self-disciplined.

Bachelor of Law (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized university.
