**Job Title**: Project Engineer - Building Construction

**Department**: Engineering / Construction
**Reports To**: Project Manager / Construction Manager

**Job Purpose**:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating engineering and construction activities at building construction sites. The role involves planning, execution, supervision, and completion of building construction projects in line with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and supervise site execution activities for building construction projects.
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and ensure compliance during execution.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Liaise with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and site issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure work progress aligns with approved plans and quality standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for internal and client review.
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards at the construction site.
- Participate in meetings related to site progress, design changes, and resource planning.
- Assist in procurement planning for construction materials and ensure timely delivery.
- Address non-conformities and implement corrective measures promptly.
- Support the Project Manager in preparing cost estimates, variation claims, and technical documentation.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in building construction projects, preferably in residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.
- Proven experience with site supervision, construction planning, and quality control.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
