Head of Contracts - Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation operating out of Qatar. They are currently seeking an Arabic
- and English-speaking Head of Contracts to join their Contracts and Procurement Division in Doha. RESPONSIBILITIES - Being responsible for the procurement of goods or services for the company’s projects in corporate functions - Ensuring that the company secures the best deals for materials and services obtained - Managing and preparing corporate-related contracts, ensuring alignment with each department’s needs - Liaising and communicating with relevant departments on materials or services required to deliver the scope of work, including consultant/contractor/construction materials - Implementing standardised tendering methods for corporate procurement, using standard templates, tools, and documents - Assisting in the maintenance of accurate vendor databases, and ensuring that the database reflects the latest information on pricing, delivery, time, and resources - Managing the end-to-end RFP process, from bid scoping, bid conditioning & evaluation, shortlisting/selection to the award - Assisting in the negotiation with contractors to ensure the highest quality service at the most effective price
