**Manager Group Accounting - Record to Report**

**About the role**
You will be responsible to manage the Group’s Financial Accounting & Reporting functions and provide technical advice on accounting matters through research on recent developments in international Accounting Standards, Group’s policies and formulate planning strategies for QR Group.

**Accountabilities**
- Responsible for implementation of transformation strategy, provide Insights to Management for strategic decision making by researching on recent accounting changes in IFRSs and other accounting standards.
- Ensuring transparency in accounting and reporting by liaising with key stakeholders to decide upon the appropriate accounting steps.
- Ensure smooth end-to
- end operations of CAPEX lifecycle accounting processes from recognition of assets to de-recognition in books of accounts by presenting Reports and reconciliations.
- Oversee the process of preparation of banks reconciliations for Group’s banks accounts through monthly reconciliations and summarizing the results to Key stakeholders.
- Oversee the process of Accruals accounting for Group entities in line with Group polices and IFRSs.
- Responsible for IFRSs specifics transactions executed centrally in R2R in line with IFRSs.
- Provide information and support during internal and external audits.
- Manage and monitor internal accounting processes through quality checks and suggest improvements to produce complete, relevant, reliable, accurate and timely financial information to the stakeholders.

You will possess:

- A minimum of 8 years specialist of job-related experience required.
- Relevant University qualification in Accounting / Commerce / Finance.
- Professional accounting certificate i.e. CA/ACCA/CPA.
- In depth knowledge on International Accounting/Reporting Standards and their impact on Group Companies.
- Command of English language.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
