**About the role**

You will be responsible for effectively supporting the Clinical Radiologist in performing diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT, and MRI scans test necessary for the diagnose and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities includes the following:
- Prepare patients and equipment for radiology procedures, perform the tests, and maintain the necessary equipment.- Compile patient information including medical history before the imaging process.- Inform patients of the imaging procedure and any necessary preparations.- Consolidate patients' charts and doctors' notes before the examination, and maintain patients' records during and after procedures.- Ensure that the patient’s and equipment positioning is optimized for clear image outcomes, whilst avoiding unnecessary exposure to radiation.- Monitor, observe and analyze patients’ conditions for any potential adverse reactions- Ensure all safety procedures are followed during imaging process.- Create and provide an accurate record of concluded ×-ray procedures and deliver necessary report to Clinical Radiologist and management as and when needed.- Ensure the proper sterilization and storage of the equipment, maintaining radiographic equipment, and the x-ray equipment is regularly serviced and in good working order.

Qualifications

**About you**- Bachelor's Degree in related field with 3 years of job-related experience.- Formal training program and certification in radiography.- You must be eligible for QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) Licensing and Registration and pass the necessary medical and security tests as required by the State of Qatar.- CPR Certificate- Full understanding of the human anatomy and scientific principles relating to human health.- Good knowledge of the principles of physics relating to radiology.- Up to date knowledge of the strict principals of ALARA.- Proficient knowledgeable about various imaging modalities.-
- Professional teamwork attitude. Highly focused and with a keen eye for details.

**Preferred**- Arabic language- Radiation Safety training
