**Duties include designing, building, and installing custom furniture, as well as repairing and restoring existing pieces. Work with various wood types, using hand and power tools, and must be proficient in reading blueprints and following safety procedures. They also handle tasks like measuring, cutting, shaping, and finishing wood, and may work on-site or in a workshop.**

Core Responsibilities:

- **Design and Construction**:Creating custom furniture pieces, from initial design to final assembly, using various woodworking techniques.
- **Material Selection**:Choosing appropriate wood types based on project requirements, budget, and client preferences.
- **Woodworking Techniques**:Utilizing hand and power tools like saws, drills, sanders, and lathes to cut, shape, and join wood.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**:Reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate construction.
- **Installation**:Fitting and installing furniture, cabinets, shelving, and other woodworking features in homes or commercial spaces.
- **Repair and Restoration**:Restoring and repairing damaged furniture, ensuring it meets quality standards.
- **Safety Compliance**:Following safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- **Collaboration**:Working with clients, other tradespeople, and suppliers to complete projects successfully.

Specific Tasks:

- Measuring and marking wood accurately.
- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing wood.
- Building door and door frames, cabinets, chairs, tables and etc.
- Assembling furniture, cabinets, and shelving.
- Installing kitchen units, countertops, and other built-in features.
- Sanding and finishing surfaces for a smooth and polished look.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in using a wide range of woodworking tools and machinery.
- **Problem-Solving**: Able to identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction or repair process.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of the work.

- **Physical Stamina**: Being able to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various positions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR1,000.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
