Certified Welding Inspector

Our client is looking for qualified **Welding Inspectors** to oversee welding activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards for a project in **Ras Laffan**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and inspect welding activities to ensure compliance with WPS, codes (ASME/API/ISO), and client specifications
- Conduct fit-up and visual inspections before, during, and after welding
- Verify welder qualifications and welding consumables
- Interpret radiographic and NDT reports
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
- Coordinate with QC, construction, and client representatives
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols on site

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI certification is **mandatory**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical sector
- Knowledge of international welding codes & standards (ASME, AWS, API)
- Valid QID and NOC
- Immediate joiners will be given preference
- Duration: 8 to 10 months
