**Job Title** : TEKLA DETAILER / DRAFTSMAN

**Department**: Engineering

**Reporting To** : Engineering Manager

**Authorities**:
1. Authorized to handle all related drawings.

2. Authorized to issue drawings for approval, fabrication and erection.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible for preparation and detailing of the shop drawings and maintaining an updated list of these shop drawings.

2. Coordinate all consultants’ drawings received at the beginning of the contract.

3. Preparation of fabrication and erection drawings after approval of the shop drawing.

4. Preparation of Material Take off as per approved shop drawings.

5. Assist technical/engineering in-charge in proper control over the distribution of all drawings is the project in accordance with the contractor’s requirements.

6. Prepare As-Built drawings in compliance with the quality assurance procedure for preparation, control & issue of working drawings.

7. Coordinate for taking copies and printing drawings, and maintain a record of drawings.

8. Generate Bill of Quantity and materials estimation.

**Qualifications**:
1. Diploma in drafting/ ITI certificate.

2. Number of years of experience: 5/10 years and above.

3. Specialized training required (if any): training is AutoCAD/ Tekla detailing & other designing software.

4. Area of experience required: wide range of steel fabrication projects.
