Job Title**:Junior Accountant / Accounting Assistant** (For a Restaurant Company)

Starting salary**:QAR 3,700 to QAR 4,000 (Full package / All in)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the restaurant.
- Record daily transactions, including sales, expenses, and payroll.
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper authorization and accurate coding.
- Assist in customer billing and monitor accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Review and reconcile employee expense reports.
- Assist in monitoring and controlling operational expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Generate specific financial reports as required by management.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards that may impact the restaurant.
- Assist in the payroll process, including timekeeping and payroll reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software; experience with restaurant-specific software is a bonus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
