**Job description**

Al Jassim Group is seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our IT team.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Server Admin / IT Officer - Bachelor’s degree; at least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Managing the use of virtualization technologies such as VMware, vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V

Maintaining backup of data on physical devices such as tape drives or external hard drives

Creating disaster recovery plans and procedures for responding to major outages or natural disasters affecting the data center

Managing network security by administering firewalls [SonicWALL & Sophos Firewall & Antivirus]

Troubleshooting problems with hardware and software, including responding to support requests from users

Monitoring server performance to identify problems and make adjustments to improve performance

Installing and maintenance of Avaya telephonic system.

Operational knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory

Operational knowledge of switch configuration and programming.

Operational knowledge of biometric system, Antivirus

Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on servers, computers, and peripheral equipment

POS knowledge & Qatar driving license would be an advantage.

**Salary**: QAR 5,000.00 - QAR 6,500.00 per month

Server Admin: 5 years (required)

VMware : 3 years (required)

Firewalls : 3 years (required)
