Role purpose:

- Operation & Maintenance of domain’s nodes, including Incident and Problem Management
- Integration of new nodes/software releases
- Automation and development of tools to support daily tasks
- Manage the relation and escalation with the Vendors and Managed Services Teams
- Impact and risk assessment for new projects and changes in existing environment
- Provide support and/or manage the Core Telco infrastructure
- Perform/supervise the acceptance of new nodes, services into live network making sure the required documents and processes are validated

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

- L1 NOC management and guidance
- L2 Managed Services management and ensure their contractual KPIs and SLAs are followed
- Prepare, ensure approval, and execution of the changes under CS Core domain and Telco infra
- Manage the CS Core KPIs and ensure any degradation reported is being address accordingly (as incident, problem or improvement cycle)
- Preventive maintenance planning and follow up
- Integration of new nodes, services
- Attend night activities when the situation requires
- Perform incident and problem management for CS Core domain and follow up on partners, vendors to ensure Vodafone SLAs are met
- Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) through Major Incident Reviews (MIR) with the Vendors and update KEDB documentations
- Capacity assessment and raise any concerns to design or concerned entity
- Execute and validate SW and HW bug fixes, release upgrades and expansions.
- Participate in an on-call Rota and flexible working hours
