**Core Competencies, knowledge, and experience**
- Accounting, Finance, Economics or Math/Science degree.
- An accounting or finance professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or MBA)
- Worked on at least 2 audits as a client or auditor with a multinational accounting firm.

**Technical Qualifications**:

- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Peach tree, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Working knowledge on Sage 50 Accounting 2021.

**Detail Job Description**

1. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

2. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

3. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

4. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

5. Secures financial information by completing data base backups.

6. Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

7. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.

8. Audit financial transactions and documents.

9. Reinforce Financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.

10. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information thru **Accounting System-Profit & Loss Items** - Encoding Sales & Revenue, Encoding COGS Cost of goods sold-Food & Beverage, Encoding COGS Cost of goods sold-Resto Salaries & Wages (Direct Expense), Encoding Admin Expenses (Restaurants) including Electricity, Villa Rent-Rent Accommodation, Fuel expense, Telephone, Repairs & Maintenance, Office Supplies, Visa & Immigration, Travel Cost, Legal Fees, Bank Charges, Miscellaneous expenses, Established & encode inventories.

- Encoding Partners Contributions, Investments or Capital Injections, Computation of Yearly Retained Earnings.

14. Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends e.g. Aging of Accounts Receivables, Aging of Accounts Payables, Monthly Bank Reconciliation, Monthly Sales Report, Checking Daily Sales Report, Checking Daily Cash Deposit, Checking Expenses (Petty Cash), Monitoring of Cheques issued to Suppliers (Cheque Control/Rental accommodation), Other duties assigned by the Management.

15. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports e.g.Profits & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance.
