**Position**: Rigger
**Location**: Birkath ,Qatar

**Responsibilities**:

- **Rigging Operations**:

- Set up and operate rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and slings to move and position heavy loads.
- Inspect and test rigging equipment (slings, cables, pulleys, shackles, etc.) for proper working condition before use.
- Assemble and secure rigging equipment to ensure the safe movement and placement of materials, machinery, or structures.
- Perform pre-lift inspections to ensure equipment and rigging are in compliance with safety standards.
- **Load Handling**:

- Ensure loads are securely lifted, moved, and positioned as per project specifications and safety regulations.
- Assist in securing loads to be lifted and ensure the proper weight distribution during lifting.
- Monitor and adjust rigging systems during lifting operations to ensure safety.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all safety procedures and regulations in accordance with company policies and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, local safety laws).
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to supervisors and help resolve any safety concerns.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols, including wearing necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Assist in conducting safety checks and risk assessments of rigging operations before each lift.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the Rigging Supervisor, crane operators, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Communicate clearly with other crew members, especially when coordinating lifts or working in high-risk environments.
- Follow instructions and directions from supervisors to ensure proper and safe handling of all rigging activities.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Properly maintain rigging equipment, ensuring it is clean, serviced, and stored correctly when not in use.
- Report damaged or defective rigging equipment to supervisors and assist with repairs or replacements as needed.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of equipment to prevent damage.
- **Documentation**:

- Keep accurate records of rigging operations, including load weights, equipment used, and any safety inspections.
- Assist in completing reports on rigging activities for compliance and safety audits.
- **Site Preparation**:

- Assist in preparing the site for rigging work, including clearing obstacles and ensuring a safe environment for rigging operations.
- Check load paths and ensure the stability of ground conditions for lifting operations.
