**Department**
RAS LAFFAN PORT

**Primary purpose of job**
Prepares, reviews and implements emergency maritime plans. Interfaces between the port and CH to ensure the

emergency response procedures are aligned, and prepares and conducts emergency response drills in coordination with

IH.

**Experience & Skills**
1. Qualification in safety, health, environmental, fire, security and / or risk management related field with emergency

planning

experience preferably within the oil, gas or petrochemical industry

2. Thorough knowledge of regulatory, industry and plant specific requirements for emergency preparedness and

response,

Proven ability to organize, motivate and supervise multi-discipline teams.

3. Excellent written and spoken English, with proven ability in the writing of procedures and plans,

4. Excellent time management, organization and priority setting skills,

5. Excellent administrative, communication and decision-making skills in normal and emergency situations Strong

computer

competency and related skills.

**Education**
Degree in Marine studies, with minimum 8 years experience within a Marine or shipping environment related to marine

emergency & operations.
