**Job Summary**:The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by providing accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. This role involves managing medication therapy, maintaining inventory, and adhering to regulatory standards to enhance patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Medication Dispensing**:

- Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medications.

**2. Patient Counseling**:

- Provide comprehensive counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- Educate patients on proper medication storage and administration.
- Address patient concerns and questions regarding their medications.

**3. Medication Therapy Management**:

- Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) sessions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Review patient medication regimens for efficacy, safety, and adherence.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust treatment plans.

**4. Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Monitor medication expiration dates and manage returns or disposals.
- Order and receive medications and supplies as needed.

**5. Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines for pharmacy practice.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks.

**6. Clinical Collaboration**:

- Work closely with healthcare providers to support patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide drug information and recommendations to healthcare professionals.

**7. Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmacy practice and medications.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Pursue relevant certifications and advanced training.

**8. Documentation and Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication profiles.
- Document all patient interactions and interventions in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Higher diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Pharmaceutical: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Arabic & English (required)

License/Certification:

- Pharmaceutical License (required)
