**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage the stewarding team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and food service areas.
- Oversee dishwashing, floor maintenance, and equipment cleaning, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and hygiene standards as mandated by local regulations.
- Manage inventory control for cleaning supplies, kitchen tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate the cleaning schedule for kitchen and dining areas to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Train and mentor new team members on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Resolve issues or conflicts among staff members and provide solutions to improve productivity.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Assist with other duties as required, including preparing cleaning areas and supporting kitchen staff during peak periods.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in kitchen safety and sanitation is a plus.
- Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen support role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
