- Experience with Piping test pack review - Line Walk down, Punch listing and witness Pressure testing.
- Reviewing WPS, PQR, and welder Qualifications
- Confirming correct WPS is applied as per the weld Map.
- Witnessing Mechanical / radiographic testing of weld Qualifications
- Edge Preparation of base material
- Fit up and alignments of Joint
- Qualifications of welder
- Confirming proper consumables are being used including material and diameters
- Confirming proper cleaning between passes
- Confirming proper machine settings
- Ensuring proper preheat and PWHT set up and performance
- Verifying welders identification on completed welds
- Radiographic technique and radiographic review
- Dye penetrant
- Magnetic penetrant
- Harness test
- Positive material identification test
- Onsite chemical test
- Crack depth indication
- Shop inspections
- Verifying proper handling and issuance of consumables
- Reviewing MTR for base material and consumables
- Confirming traceability of materials (Alloy, low temperature, carbon steel, pressure retaining components, and other critical materials
- Monitor shop welding documentation
- Inspection of cladding processes and clad material
- Witness pressure tests hydrostatic and pneumatic
**Qualifications**
Bachelors / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10-12 years of experience as piping welding inspector from the client side and oil & gas Industries / Third Party Inspection companies
CSWIP 3.1, 3.2.1 PCN Level 2 in UT.
**Additional Information**
Mandatory Experience with Piping test pack review - Line Qwalk down, Punch listing and witness Pressure testing.
Should be good with communication skills and preferred worked with third party inspection companies
