**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Engineering mechanical, marine or electrical
- Min. 2 years in the same filed
- Business fluent in English, Hindi/Urdu

**Task Description**:

- To ensure the highest level of technical support for prepare/review of RFQs (Request for Quotation), MOFs (Material Order Form) raised from different sections in Shipyard for different kind of materials, equipment, tools, contractor/ subcontractor services needed for Shipyard’s day-to-day operational, asset, maintenance and other stock items. Technical review of received quotations in liaison with respective requesters/sections. Communicate with the suppliers/ service providers to ensure procurement & delivery of correct item/service.
- Provide prompt and satisfactory response to such RFQ/MOF raised from Production, Non-Production and Management Team.
- Ensure that any RFQ/MOF being prepared in the Shipyard (Capex, Opex or Stock Material) is technically compliant to the Client's specification, to the related applicable standards and to any QHSSE requirements
- Extend all possible support to production for safe and efficient operation of the yard activities in the most economical manner
- Process RFQ/MOF from a technical point of view - review, compliance to specification and to QA/QC standards
- Process each RFQ through the right and dedicated channels of approvals
- Ensure the RFQ/MOF goes through all the approval steps prior to be sent to Milaha Procurement Dept. to obtain quotations
- Ensure compliance of QTNs./CS received from central procurement to the Client’s specification/respective RFQ/MOF, to the related applicable standards and to any QHSSE requirements. Consult with requester/production team to confirm or comment back the technical specification received
- Establish an effective and efficient communication with production/Operation personnel to ensure all activities are carried out on time and with technical compliance
- Update the tracking file on daily basis and discuss any concern with Supply Chain Coordinator/section
- Perform job related duties as assigned
