**Department**
HEALTHCARE

**Primary purpose of job**:

- To manage the operation and service delivery of QP Dental Services in the region. This includes the operation and

service delivery of the Dental Laboratory Services.
- To provide specialist Primary Dental Care in the diagnoses and treatment of diseases, injuries, malformalities of teeth and

gums and related oral structures. May treat diseases of nerve, pulp and other dental tissues affecting vitality of teeth.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum 12 years full time clinical dental experience, inclusive of a 1 year foundation programme in a supervised

environment (essential).
- Proven experience in management of a Dental Clinic (recommended).
- Evidence of continuous post graduate development (CPO) in line with QP standards in clinical and mandatory training

(essential).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) (essential).

**Education**:

- Bachelors Degree in Dentistry (from a World Health Organisation approved dental school) or equivalent (essential).

Middle Management training (essential).
- Evidence of continuous post graduate development (CPO) in line with QP standards in clinical and mandatory training

(essential). If Masters Degree in Dentistry (from a World Health Organisation approved dental school) or equivalent, 10

years proven experience as a specialist/ registrar in hospital.
