NOTE: We can only respond to applicants whose current experience, industry and qualifications match the requirements of our principals/employers.

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary school certificate or ITI certificate or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in a Shipyard and heavy engineering industries

**Task Description**:

- Must have knowledge to fabricate, lay out and fits out metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery components, bridge parts using knowledge of welding techniques.
- Can fabricate lay out in positions, aligns to assemble piping components together to match in a drawing supplied by another party or fits in a piping system to fulfil requirements
- To bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
- Knowledgeable in set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, gas shielded arc, submerged arc or gas welding equipment and other related power tools/equipment (saws, grinders).
- Good experience in various weld positions of flat horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
- Ability to weld multiple metal types to a high standard
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English Language. Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage
