**Duties**:

- **Welding Operations**:

- Perform welding tasks using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) to join metal components.
- Select appropriate welding equipment and materials for each job.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**:

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- **Preparation**:

- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, or sanding to ensure proper welding conditions.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment according to the job specifications.
- **Inspection**:

- Inspect welded joints for defects such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion.
- Test welds using methods such as x-ray, ultrasonic, or visual inspection.
- **Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Replace or repair defective parts of welding machinery.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and use protective gear, including gloves, helmets, and welding shields.
- Follow safety regulations to prevent accidents and exposure to harmful fumes.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain records of welding procedures, materials used, and inspection results.
- Document any issues encountered and the solutions implemented.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively about project progress and any challenges.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all welds meet industry standards and specifications.
- Take responsibility for the quality of work and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to welding processes or equipment.
- Adapt techniques or procedures as needed based on job requirements or unforeseen problems.
- **Training and Development**:

- Stay updated on new welding technologies and techniques.
- Occasionally train or mentor less experienced welders.
- **Compliance**:

- Follow all industry standards, codes, and regulations related to welding and metal fabrication.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- **Efficiency**:

- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks appropriately.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**2 years experienced is a must.**

**with Qatar or GCC experienced.**
