We are hiring for DIESEL ENGINE TECHNICIAN-Locally available in Qatar

Duration:5 years

Location: Mesaieed

Minimum 7 years’ experience in Diesel Engines Maintenance

3 year’s Diploma of Associate Engineer in Automobile / Mechanical Technology after secondary school certificate

v Should be able to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawing.

v Should be able to use all related tools in his field.

v Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques.

v Should be holder of valid QATARI driving license.

v To carry out Maintenance mechanical jobs (Preventive, Corrective & Trouble Shoot) for all Qapco Complex Vehicles listed below (Mobile cranes, Forklifts, Diesel Engines, Fire Fighting Equipment (firefighting’s Trucks and Ambulances) according to schedule in SAP system.

v To perform minor and major overhauling of diesel engines including hydraulic system in vehicles.

v To carry out lubrication and greasing to all types of vehicles.

v To carry out repair of damaged components of vehicles.

v To do check and change tyres if required for all vehicles.

v To perform other works such as preparation of documents, daily follow up of spares, transportation of material and site cleaning.

v To carry out trouble shooting for all diesel machine and vehicles.

v To receive verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods to standards and discusses drawing details.

v To clarify work requirements with hierarchy REPRESENTATIVE before implementation.

v To obtain all required work permits from hierarchy REPRESENTATIVE before commencing the assigned work.

v To ensure that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keep safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with QAPCO’s regulations and safety standards.

v To check work quality, and take corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.

v To perform other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to QAPCO policy.
