**Profile Summary**:
The Workshop Controller role is one of the busiest and most pressurized roles. This role consists of handing out work to Technicians to ensure smooth running of the workshop. The role holder will also liaise with the Service Department to be on hand to answer any queries from the Workshop Manager. The Workshop Controller assigns technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Experience with creating parameters for job activities/ “Standard Repair/ Operating Time” for jobs to be done.
- To distribute and control the issue of work to the Technicians to maximise quality and overall efficiency by pushing work through the workshop and managing the workflow..
- To ensure a strong relationship is maintained with the parts department to maximise parts availability.
- To ensure the accurate and timely completion of all job card write-ups and incident reports for each repair including job completion status
- To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained in line with the Company’s HSE policy and that general housekeeping and appearance are maintained at a high standard.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in engineering/ operations or workflow management
- Experience working within a commercial vehicle workshop is preferred.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Valid Qatar driving license.
