Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

**Job Purpose**

We are looking for a Bartender/Barista to work within The Ned Doha. If you have experience as a Bartender/Barista in a busy restaurant or hotel luxury environment, and you are enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about fresh food and good service, then we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, espresso-based beverages, and cocktails according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service by interacting with guests, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns to ensure a positive experience.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain coffee machines, blenders, cocktail shakers, and other equipment, ensuring they are clean and functioning correctly.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the bar and coffee stations clean and organized, following health and safety standards.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, manage the cash register, and handle cash and credit card payments.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on current beverage trends and techniques to enhance drink offerings and improve customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Barista, Bartender, or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Proficient in preparing coffee drinks and cocktails, with a solid understanding of brewing methods and mixology techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be of legal drinking age and hold any required certifications or licenses.

**Work Experience and Knowledge**:

- Demonstrated experience in a barista or bartender role, showcasing a strong background in beverage preparation and customer service.
- Familiarity with various coffee brewing equipment, cocktail mixers, and bar tools.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
- Experience in managing inventory and performing cash handling duties.
