**Job description**
- Lead the Tendering & Estimation Team to provide support to management during the pre-tender process starting from evaluating/ assessing tenders, assessing risk factors to arrive at bid decisions, and leading the tendering process from the receipt of the tender documents from the designer until the bid award.
- Studies, analyses and evaluates tender documents from a technical point of view in order to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards
- Reviews and finalizes project cost estimates as prepared by the Estimation and Quantity Surveying team in terms of the required material as per bill of quantities (BOQ), amount of work, material/ equipment/ and manpower requirements during the tendering phase; this includes all systems, products and services to client specifications/ requirements.
- Manages tender circulars process in getting the tenderers queries, sort them in tender circular form, get the required information from the designer, and circulate the final tender circulars to the tender participants.
- Prepares budgetary estimation for the proposed projects or the individual local packages to advise on the feasibility of the project or individual package.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying or equal degree
- At least Fifteen years' experience in the preparation, negotiation, and management of large-scale civil building projects (office, hotel, apartment high rise complexes) tender packages
- Knowledge with contraction contracts (FIDIC, PWA, JCT, etc.)
- Knowledge of construction specifications (QCS)
- Locally available with valid RP
